LBM (Lean Body Mass)

Definition

Your total body weight minus the weight of your body fat.

LBM includes your skin, bones, ligaments, tendons, water, and organs. Knowing your LBM helps in setting accurate protein intake goals, usually 0.7-1g per pound of LBM.
